Are You Moving?
The following is from a friend of mine, Tim Hall, who has suffered from a physical ailment for many years; one that doctors seem to have no answer for. Yet Tim keeps pressing on, knowing that God is at the helm of his life and that God’s plans are good.
I would imagine that anyone that deals with chronic pain or discomfort has to constantly realign their perspective. But, then again, don’t we all need to do that? We all, throughout life here on earth, deal with a variety of difficulties. How we respond to those difficulties varies widely; from extreme bitterness and anger to peace and joy. How we respond determines how we affect those around us; in a positive or negative way. Building them up or tearing them down. Which will it be for you?
Are You Moving?
Are you moving?
Not talking
Pulling up the stakes
And living somewhere else
Talking about
Considering the stakes
Of stagnation
Not changing today
Not improving
Your world needs you
Your family needs you
You need you...
Desperately
To get better

Are you moving toward anything that truly matters...
something worthy of the gifts you’ve been given?
Or are just going through the motions, fulfilling the notions of others?
Skip a meal, & you might hear yourself say, “ I’m starving”
You’ll probably put something in your mouth to journey to your tummy today...and feel temporarily satisfied.
I believe we want more than temporary satisfaction...
What will you put in your head today, that might journey to your heart that will make you rise to a better you, meeting the hunger of one in a starving world.
You are needed...
Can you hear them? So many are whispering...
“I’m famished”
